As business owners, we are always busy. Most of us wear multiple hats in our business and it can feel like we are running from one fire to another trying to put them out. Part of this is just the life of an entrepreneur, but a lot of the time we are creating fires in our lives because we cannot say “No” to obligations that take us away from our goals. In order to be successful, we need to learn how to say “No” to things that will distract us from our business goals. This might mean saying “No” to social invitations, networking events, or even potential business opportunities. It is important to focus on our own business and not get sidetracked by other things. When we learn to say “No”, we will be able to focus on what is truly important and achieve the success we desire.
