At the end of the day the success or failure of your company is all on you. As the owner we wear every hat whether we like it or not. One of the biggest mistakes that large companies make is they stop being involved in crucial departments like marketing. I consulted for a huge company that the CEO said to me that we have a marketing team and I just have to rely on them that they know what they are doing. What!? I laughed :-) The real answer is that most people including this guy have no idea how to market. This is very true with small companies and instead of educating themselves like you are right now with this podcast they just do nothing. Like Tony Robins says "I's not the better product or service that wins, it's the better marketing" Here's the thing, if you truly understand who your avatar (client) is, you will know best what they are looking for. This makes you the best marketer for the job. Lets discuss.
